Off the ground is an angular tabletop held from the ground by folded sheet-metal legs clasped to its corners. Any 20 to 25 mm thick surface with 90 or 120-degree corners can be transformed into your custom side table. For the Airmail exhibition I specially designed 3 unique shapes to demonstrate the concept.

Freeloader
Freeloader is a site-specific growing environment utilizing existing architectural structures.
Outside, Rainwater is collected and stored in a tank from the drainage. Inside, by the window, plants can safely grow and are automatically watered by a gravity fed system from the tank outside.
Grow Your Own
The Grow Your Own is a small greenhouse and showcase for your beautiful plants. It is intended for use in the city gardens and roof terraces.
It comes as a complete hassle free self-sufficient system, including a watering system, ventilation, temperature control, shading, allowance for different pot sizes and even the relevant garden tools. The Grow Your Own collects and stores its own rainwater and has an automatic pump for daily distribution of water.
With the growing chest going on a holiday or having a busy life is no longer a reason not to grow your own.

The design of the light is based around a new and innovative solution of joining components, utilising the attraction of Neodymium magnets. The components do not have any permanent fixings and are only held together by the strength of the magnet. The Magnet Light has a simple and elegant appearance and is made out of lightweight components. Depending on the task, the length and the desired light source (direct or ambient), can be simply changed by adding or removing components.

This was the first project I did in my 2nd year of the RCA in Platform 12. My approach was to play with the functions by rearranging related functions and grouping them, with as a result a very logical and understandable radio in its use.

A/O Carpet
The a/o carpet is an interactive path of leather-bound pressure sensors that manipulate the sounds of your footsteps. Every time you walk over the pads you will be surprised by different echoes.
The intelligent customised audio programming allows guests to discover the unique nature of the interactive carpet, with every step the sounds build up and change in reaction to the character of the footsteps, offering a sensual playful interactive experience.

By chance I obtained a 15 mm thick glass table top of the LC10 Coffee Table by “Le Corbusier”. This was the starting point for the design of “Bend”. The table only has four identical legs clasped on every corner of the tabletop. The hardened glass is not supported by any frame to accentuate transparency and the strength of the material. The weight of the tabletop keeps the legs in place without any fasteners.

Mesh is a modular storage system consisting of stacked containers. The containers are available in an open structure, a closed structure, with doors, and in different colors. This variety of containers makes it possible for the customer to create a more open or closed appearance to their personal preference. The containers are easily stacked and fixed which makes it easy to change the systems composition or to expand the system.
